9. Keyword Research

Before writing a blog, always make a habit of doing keyword research. Look for low-competitive keywords and also long-tail keywords. While writing your blog post, add those keywords to your blog article one by one. It will play an important role in search engine ranking.

There are many tools you can use for free, like Keyword Planner, Google AdWords, SEMrush, and so on. SEMrush is a free and paid keyword research tool that can play a vital role. Other than that, you can try Keyword Planner, which works reasonably well for new bloggers.

10. Permalink (SEO for Blogger)

People always make this mistake while choosing an SEO-friendly permalink for Blogger. Do not make the mistake of ignoring it. I repeat: do not ignore it. You need to edit the default permanent link for every blog post or page.
